Use of the site, including all information, services, and educational materials presented here by Michelle LaRocque, LaRocque Star Learning, (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is subject to the following terms and conditions, including the privacy policy and disclaimer.  These terms and conditions apply to all users (“you”) of the site. It​ ​is​ ​your responsibility​ ​to​ ​read​ ​these​ ​Terms​ ​​of​ ​Use​ ​carefully​ ​prior​ ​to​ ​purchase, use​ ​or​ ​access​ ​of​ ​any​ ​of​ ​my​ ​products or services. By using the site, services, or products you agree you have read and acknowledged these terms and conditions and agree to them as stated. 

We may revise and update these Terms of Use at any time at our sole discretion.  All changes are effective immediately when we post them and apply to all uses of the service or website.

Copyright and Intellectual Property

You understand and agree that all content, products, and services, including but not limited to videos, coursework, training modules, photographs, text, graphics, images, and sound recordings (collectively, the “Product Content”) is owned by and the property of Michelle LaRocque, LaRocque Star Learning and is protected by copyright and other laws that protect intellectual property. Duplicating, altering, sharing, or uploading any Product Content, including any sharing on social media sites, is considered stealing and an infringement of our intellectual property rights

Any Product Content that you have paid for or opted to receive is provided to you for your own personal, noncommercial use. You may download and/or print any Product Content materials for your personal use. You may NOT share the Product Content with anyone else who has not yet purchased it or opted in to receive it.

Links to Other Sites & Affiliate Links

Our service may contain links to other sites as a convenience to you that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site.  We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party sites or services.

This site may use affiliate links to sell certain products or services. We disclaim any and all liability as a result of your purchase through one of these links.

Communications

Our services may include opportunities for you to post comments or communicate in an open setting. You agree to follow these rules:

  • Do not post or comment anything that might affect how others use or enjoy this site.

  • Don’t post pr comment personal or private information about someone else.

  • Don’t post or comment content that promotes crime or anything that would break US law.

  • Don’t bully or say anything libelous about other people within or outside of the site.

Financial Considerations

Purchases/Payments: Payments are made by credit card using Squarespace Payments via Stripe.

Downloadable Products: Downloads or information and links regarding services will be provided via email after purchase. Only one person may access and use the product or service. Due to the nature of the product and services, we do not offer refunds.

Monthly Memberships: You agree to be billed monthly in order to have access to content and trainings on the member site. Your monthly or subscription will automatically renew unless go into your account and cancel. You have the option to cancel at any time and you will still be provided with access to the member site until the next scheduled billing cycle. No refunds will be accepted for already purchased monthly access. Canceling will only discontinue future payments and access.

Yearly Membership: You agree to be billed every 11 months in order to have access to content and trainings on the member site. Your yearly subscription will automatically renew unless go into your account and cancel. You may not pause your yearly membership to resume at another time. You have the option to cancel before the end of the yearly membership if you wish to not continue the membership and you will still have access until the next billing cycle. Refunds will only be offered within 30 days of purchase (less one month payment). In order to terminate your membership and receive a refund you must contact LaRocque Star Learning for you to be removed by the host. Your access will be removed immediately, and your refund will be issued.

All purchases are for ONE user. Do not share downloaded products or membership logins with other users. Not following the terms and conditions on this site may result in termination of your membership.

Information You Provide To Us: The site provides various places for users to provide information. We collect information that users provide when: filling out forms on the site, communicating with us via contact forms, providing comments or other feedback, providing email for offer opt-ins, and providing information when ordering a product or service via the site. Please keep in mind that if you disclose personally identifiable information in a public manner through the site or social media platforms, this information may be collected and used by others accessing those portions of the site. I do not monitor information you disclose on the site nor do I accept any liability associated with your voluntary disclosure.

The security of your data is important to us but no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Email is not a secure medium of communication. For this reason, we request that you do not send private information to us by email, doing so is at your own risk.

If you opt-in to receive any free resources, participate in any free training programs, register for a webinar or live event, or purchase any services on this site, we will automatically enroll you to receive our free email newsletter. If you do not wish to receive this newsletter, you can unsubscribe anytime. We include an “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of every email we send.

Children Under 18 Policy

Our site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. If you are under 18, you may only use the site under the supervision of a parent or guardian. I do not collect or maintain information from anyone known to be under the age of 18, and no part of this website is designed to attract anyone under the age of 18. I do not sell products or services intended for purchase by children. If we discover or are otherwise notified that we have received any such information from a child in violation of this policy, we will delete that information.
